The Zrmanja River has won hearts with its beauty of all who have seen it at first glance. Its crystal clear water meanders through the 200 meter deep canyon. The River created travertine waterfalls of which distinguishes "Veliki Buk" 11m high waterfall, with incredible beauty. With its and the strength of tributaries, especially Krupa, Zrmanja has through the century penetrate its way towards the sea. Making that way limestone base the river has created one of the most impressive canyon, decorated by numerous waterfalls, travertine thresholds, cascades and rapids.
