Key-handover
The key will be handed to you during our office hours. Should you arrive outside our office hours, please contact our 24 hour telephone service. If departing guests leave the accommodation late (regular departure is normally 10 pm) you should be able to get to your rooms at 14.00 hrs, as our cleaners need some time to clean them to your satisfaction.
Cleaning of your rooms or unit
Units: unit cleaned at your arrival and departure Towels changed weekly Bed linen changed weekly If your apartment is not sufficiently clean at your arrival, we ask you to get into contact with your travel agent immediately. The dishes have to be cleaned by yourself before your departure.
Cots
In private apartments there are normally no cots available. If you need a cot for your child, please let us know when you make the booking. There will be an extra fee charged.
Burglaries/Stealing
Like anywhere else, burglaries can happen. For this reason we recommend you to hire a safe (if available). Perla Travel Agency is not responsible for stolen goods.
Credit cards
The following credit cards are widely accepted in hotels and restaurants: Visa, Eurocard, American Express and Mastercard.
Pets
Many resorts and apartments in Croatia do not allow pets. Please inform yourself before your journey, if at your particular accommodation pets are allowed. You definitely have to mention your pet at your booking and payment for the extra fee can be made at your arrival. Hygiene reasons prohibit the pets to be taken to restaurants, the swimming pool and at the beaches.
Apartments with Kitchen
Every kitchen/kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, a cook top with 2 or 4 cooking plates, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Please inform us immediately at your arrival of any missing cutlery, crockery or utensils. You will have to buy or bring your own dishwashing liquid and toilet paper.
Tips
Tips are always welcomed by your tour guides, in restaurants or hotels, especially if you liked the service you were getting. When paying your bill at a restaurant, it is customary to leave an extra 5 – 15 % of your bill on the plate for your waiter as a little “Thank you”.
Traveling out of season
If you take advantage of out of season specials, it might happen that the entertainment at these times is not as varied as in the main season. The advantage of that is that you have no crowded beaches or restaurants, as there are not so many people around.

Airconditioning/Heating
Not all units or rooms have airconditioning or heating, so please make sure we now about your preference when you are making a booking, so we can make sure that you get what you need for your comfort.
Drinking Water
According to Health organizations in Croatia, the water from the tap on the island Pag is drinking water. We would still recommend for children to buy the mineral water as an added precaution.

Currency
The Croatian currency is the Kuna (1 Euro= about 7.30 Kuna) Currency exchange is available in every hotel or village.
Language
Our language is Croatian. But in the hotels and restaurants most staff speak English, German and Italian language.
Time difference
We have middle European Summer time and therefore no time difference to Germany.
